Recycle With Us

  • From household materials such as pop cans to industrial materials such as steel sheet, rebar and I-Beams, Midvale Recycling can accommodate your needs with its comprehensive recycling plan. If you are unsure of what type of metal you have, feel free to bring it in and have one of our professional graders let you know the grade as well as a price. Our list of accepted commodities includes aluminum, copper, brass, lead, stainless steel, iron, steel, and more.

Accepted Commodities

  • Paper-

We accept paper items such as paper bags, magazines, and newspaper for recycling

  • Soda Cans-

Soda cans are made from some of the purest forms of aluminum and generally yield one of the highest prices for scrap aluminum. We do not require that you crush your soda cans, and we provide the same price for cans whether they are crushed or not.

  • Aluminum-

Most commonly identified as pop cans, aluminum also comes in many other forms such as siding, gutters, awning, screen doors, automobile wheels, auto parts, radiators and more.

  • Brass-

Brass is a yellow to red colored alloy used in applications where low friction is required, where there is a high risk of corrosion, or for decoration. Brass items include door hinges, handles and locks, water valves, faucets, bullet shells and more.

  • Copper-

Identifiable by its bright red or green color, copper is used in wiring, plumbing, and decorative applications. Copper can usually be found in wires, tubing, downspouts, building materials and more.

  • Stainless Steel-

Highly prized in kitchens for its sleek look and anti-corrosive properties, stainless steel items include sinks, cookware, cutlery, kitchen appliances and more.

  • Iron/Steel-

Ferrous metal can be easily identified by its magnetic properties. If it sticks, it’s either iron or steel. Commonly used in industrial, farm and home applications, iron and steel are valued for their strength and sturdy properties. Items made from ferrous materials include barrels, bathtubs, rebar, car parts, engine blocks, cabling structural material and more.

  • Appliances-

Everyday appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, water heaters, dishwashers, and furnaces can be given new life by being recycled.

  • Electronics-

We recycle electronics such as computer towers, circuit boards, cell phones, and ink and toner cartridges among other items. Many of these products can be dangerous to the environment if disposed of improperly, and we are committed to ensuring that these items are disposed of in a safe and responsible manner.

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept electronics such as TVs and computer monitors at this time.

  • Lead-

We recycle lead wheel weights, car batteries, lead sheet, and more. We also have quality lead for resale as well.

  • X-Ray Film-

Believe it or not, there are recyclable metals in your old X-Ray film!

We do not accept glass for recycling at this time.

  • Sealed Containers-

Due to their explosive nature and our commitment to keeping our employees safe, we do not accept sealed containers such as gas tanks, propane tanks, oxygen tanks and aerosol cans.
